The console and file manager
Running commands, editing files, and uploading your own.
Everything is managed from your server's page here on the site. There is no second control panel to log into and no separate password to remember.
The console
The console shows exactly what your server is printing, live, and you can type commands into it as though you were sitting at the machine.
Useful Minecraft examples:
op YourName
whitelist add YourFriend
say Server restarting in 5 minutes
stop
The Start, Restart and Stop buttons do what they say. Prefer stop or the Stop button over pulling the plug — games save on shutdown, and killing them can lose recent progress.
Files
The Files tab is a real file manager: browse folders, open text files, edit and save them, upload your own, and delete what you do not need.
Common things people edit:
server.properties— Minecraft settings, though the Settings tab is saferwhitelist.json,ops.json— Minecraft access listsmods/orplugins/— where add-ons live
Uploading
Use the upload button in the Files tab. Uploads go straight to your server, not through a copy on our side.
World files
To bring an existing world with you, upload it into the right folder and restart:
| Game | Where the world lives |
|---|---|
| Minecraft | world/ in the server root |
| Terraria | .local/share/Terraria/Worlds/ |
| Valheim | .config/unity3d/IronGate/Valheim/worlds_local/ |
Stop the server before replacing a world it is currently using, or it will save over your upload on the way out.
